Grayson Jones, President and Trust Officer, joined Farmers Trust in 2013 and has developed a strong background and understanding of the Bank’s services and functions through an ongoing Bank training and education program. This has included work experience in the teller, bookkeeping, operational and marketing functions of the Bank. Over the last several years, he has worked as a loan officer becoming acquainted with farm, real estate, commercial and consumer lending along with the associated compliance requirements. Grayson is a lifelong Williamsburg resident. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Iowa, and an Executive MBA degree from the University of Iowa. In addition, Grayson is a graduate of the Iowa School of Banking and the Executive Development Institute at the Colorado Graduate School of Banking.
Brad Schlarbaum, Senior Vice President and Chief Loan Officer, joined Farmers Trust in 2018. Brad began his professional career in finance in 2003 and has been in banking since 2008. He specializes in commercial lending and credit administration and leads the Farmers Trust lending team. Brad grew up on a farm near Danville, Iowa and graduated from Buena Vista University. Brad enjoys spending time with his wife and children, coaching youth baseball, softball and basketball and being involved in the community.
Mike Julius, Vice President, joined Farmers Trust in 2011 and specializes in real estate and consumer lending. He takes great pride in exceeding customer expectations and closing on-time, "no matter what". Mike is originally from Albert City in Northwest Iowa, graduated from Iowa State University and has participated in various Iowa Bankers Association lending schools. Mike and his wife enjoy cheering on their two active children at various school and club sporting events.
Mike Klingner, Vice President, joined Farmers Trust in 2019 and brings two decades of agricultural lending experience to the Bank. At a young age, Mike developed a strong work ethic and a passion for agriculture. Mike grew up working on his family's farm in Unionville, Missouri and graduated from the University of Missouri. Prior to joining Farmers Trust, Mike ran his own row crop and cattle operation, which allows him to understand the opportunities and challenges producers face. "I can relate to what it is like to sit on the other side of the desk," says Mike. Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with this wife and four children, traveling, coaching sports, raising cattle and cheering on his Missouri Tigers and Kansas City Chiefs.
